Honourable Justice Kenneth Ikechukwu Amadi

 

 Justice AMADI attended Town Schaool, Uvuru from 1970 to 1976 for FSLC and Ngwa High School, Abayi, Aba State from 1976 to 1981 for WASC, Imo State University, Okigwe from 1985 to 1989 for LL.B and was called to the Bar in 1990.  He obtained LL.M in 2005 from the University of Uyo, Uyo and Ph.D from the Department of Public and Private Law, University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2016.

 

He performed his NYSC primary assignment with Igwe and Dike Law Firm, Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt in the 1991/92 service year.  He started his working career in 1992 with Chuks Muoma (SAN) and Associates, 105 Jubilee Road Aba, Abia State as a Solicitor.

 

Thereafter, he opened his chamber, Ken Ike AMADI and Co at Aba.  He was a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Agbani Enugu before his judicial appointment.

 

In 2013 Justice Amadi attended a course on International Labour Standard at the International Training Centre of the ILO in Turin, Italy and in 2016 attended another course on Gender Based violence in the world of works from the same institute.

 

 

He has several publications to his credit.  He was before his judicial appointment, the General Secretary and later Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Mbaise Branch.
