Industrial Court Director of Finance and Accounts, Bello AbdRafiu Retires from Service

The Director of Finance and Accounts of the National Industrial Court, Alh. Bello Abdul-Rafiu on Friday 30th December 2022 successfully retired from service.

Alh. Bello hails from Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State, North-East Nigeria.


He obtained B.Sc. in Accounting at the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, and a PGD in Financial Management at the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State. He's a fellow, Chattered National Accountant of Nigeria, and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants USA and has attended many national and international courses on Management and Leading Strategic Change.


Alh. Bello started his career with the office of the Audit General of the federation where he was actively engaged in Audit. Notable, among his Audit engagements are the Federal Ministry of Finance; State Branches, the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Post Office and the National Industrial Court of Nigeria to mention a few with over 20 years of Audit experience.


As destiny designed it, Alh. Bello Abd-Rafiu got transfer of service from the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation to the National Industrial Court of Nigeria in 2013 as an Assistant Director (Accounts) and was later promoted to the rank of the Director of Audit.


In August 2019, Alh Bello became the director of Finance and Accounts, the position he held successfully without blemish till 30th December 2022 when he retired having clocked the age of 60 years as statutorily stated in the civil service rules.


Sir, Congratulations for making it to the finish line of your career. Thanks for your un-quantified years of service to your fatherland. You’ve worked a lot in your lifetime. So it’s time for you to relax and enjoy your achievements.
