The Chief Justice of Nigeria, His lordship Hon. Justice Walter Samuel Onneghen GCON, today September 19th, 2017 declares New Legal year 2017/2018 open in accordance with the rule of law at the supreme court of Nigeria complex.
The event was attended by His Excellency, Vice president Yemi Osinbajo GCON; Past and Present Justices of Supreme Court, Governors, NICN's President, Hon. Justice Babatunde Adujumo, OFR, and many eminent nigerians to name but few.
His lordship, Hon. Justice W.S. Onneghen GCON, also conferred the Rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria on 29 qualified notable legal expert.
The programme features an address by Abubakar Malami, SAN, Attorney General of the federation and Minister of Justice; an address on behalf of the Senior Advocates of Nigeria, and also an address by Abubakar B. Mahmoud, SAN, President, Nigerian Bar Association, lastly followed by an address by Chibuike Adindu Nwanne Nwakeukwu, SAN on behalf of the New Senior Advocates of Nigeria.
