Industrial Court partners FRSC on 3-day Road Safety Workshop

From the global trends, training presents a prime opportunity to expand the knowledge base, skills and capabilities of employees, and provides both the staff and organizations as a whole with benefits that make the return on investment a no-brainer. 


Building on this fact and in line with the agenda of the Hon. President of the Court to promote knowledge-based institution, the National Industrial Court of Nigeria in partnership with the Federal Road Safety Commission organized 3-day Road Safety workshop, driving skills and proper use of the highways for all drivers of the Court


The workshop started on Monday 10th February to Wednesday 12th February 2020 and was held at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.


The Hon. President of the Court, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip, PhD, FNIALS ably represented by the Director of Admin, Mr. Karaye Muhammed admonished the participants to maximize the knowledge of the training for the greater good of their offices, stressed that the Hon. President of the Court would continue to do everything needful to prioritize their need and safety in line with the best global standard.


The Federal Road Safety Sector Commander, Federal Capital Territory, CC Wobin Ayuba Gora in his remark applauded the Court's giant stride for prioritizing staff training, urged other institutions to emulate Industrial Court.


Sector Commander also explained that the command would take its enlightenment programme to worship centres, schools, markets and traditional institutions to sensitize drivers and other road users for the safety of lives on the road.
